|More Information||Our heritage-bred, all-natural pork comes from Midwestern family farmers who raise their animals humanely and sustainably. Pigs are housed in open pens - never crates or stalls. Sourced from Duroc pigs, the heritage-breed produces pork that is rich in flavor and generously marbled. The animals are never given hormones or growth promotants, such as ractopamine, and primarily enjoy a diet of corn and protein-enriched soybean meal, typically originating from crops raised on the farm. Vegetarian ingredients are added to provide energy, vitamins and minerals, as well as some natural components to replace antibiotics.|
